VS1 PRODUCTIONS

VS1 has experience in making award winning, high quality outputs including: short films, TV productions and viral promos. VS1 can offer in-house editing and take on the responsibility of hiring deaf and/or hearing cast and crew. Previous shoots have included the recruitment of personnel from media professional services via Shooting People and higher educational settings such as the University of the West of England and the University of Wolverhampton. Our credits are Honeymoon, Life Out There, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), Sencity, 50/50, Danny, 300 / 600 SECS, Free Wheel, Deaf Person's Guide To The Sound Sensitive.

VS1 can create different styles of format such from fly-on-the-wall to short documentaries. Our credits are: Lost Community (2014) and Save Elmfield School (2011)

VS1 have experience of consulting within a range of different clients across all sectors. We also offer advice on how to achieve deaf friendly and accessible resources (translation, interpreting, in-vision BSL presenter and subtitling work) Clients who have benefitted from this include: NHS Somerset Service, Deaf People's Health Promotion, Forgiveness Project.

VS1 have an excellent track record as a training provider with specifically tailored courses covering the basics of film making in workshops taught to Deaf and disabled participants. Clients include: Lost Space (York St John University), Bristol Youth Club (animation / horror) and Family Centre for Deaf Children.
